Missouri 811’s Damage Prevention Team is here to help excavators, utilities, and locators across the state. Think of them as your Hub of Damage Prevention and a resource you can call when you have questions, need training, or could use some help in the field.
One of the biggest services the team provides is free training, and they’ll come to you.
Need to talk with a crew about potholing, ticket life, marking standards, or safe digging practices? A Damage Prevention Specialist can meet you at the jobsite. Want to get the whole team together? They can come to your office for a more traditional training session. They’re also available for tailgate talks and company safety meetings.
Training can be customized around what your team needs, including Missouri’s One Call Law, ticket management, excavation safety, damage investigations, project coordination, Internet Ticketing, and more.
The team is also there when you need help working through an issue. Damage Prevention Specialists regularly work with excavators, utilities, and locators to answer questions, improve communication, and help resolve problems.
And remember, there is no charge for Missouri 811’s Damage Prevention training or assistance.
